Leak Test Application from TQC Visual Inspection Pressure & Leak Test Bench This machine concept allows the safe testing of components for leakage. Parts are loaded into an inspection zone and connected to a test medium, for example air or water. A guard lid is then closed over the inspection zone. Once the part is fully enclosed and the lid safety interlocked using a shot bolt, pressure can be applied. This is initially set to a ‘proof’ value, if this is successful the pressure is lowered to the ‘test’ pressure and the shot bolt released. The operator can then slide the lid and access the inspection zone safely.
